Combined production of Tata Tiago & Tata Tigor hits 200,000 units

The Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor’s combined production crossed 2,00,000 units last month, Tata Motors has announced. The entry-level models have turned crucial growth drivers for the homegrown automaker.The Tata Tiago was launched in India in April 2016. It was the first model to embody the IMPACT Design language, later used on the Tata Tigor, Tata Hexa and Tata Nexon. Loaded with features like segment-first drive mode selector, ConnectNext infotainment system with app-based navigation, dual-front airbags, rear parking sensors and more, the city car is priced from INR 3.35 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).The Tata Tigor, the Tiago’s four-door version, was launched as India’s first “Styleback” in March 2017. Its captivating design made it an outstanding product among typically odd sub-4 metre sedans when it arrived. Moreover, Tata Motors also threw in attractive features like smoked projector tail lamps, sporty 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, split LED tail lamps, roof-mounted rear spoiler with full-width LED stop lamp, dual-tone interior and more to make it even more appealing.
