Shares of FLC, a property company, heated up the market as the firm launched its carrier Bamboo Airways. FLC closed the session up 3.4% at VND6,330 per share and led the market by liquidity with more than 20.6 million shares traded. Having announced the proceeds of VND3.8 trillion from bond issuance and the expansion of banana growing area, agricultural firm HNG went up to the ceiling price after a four-day losing streak, closing at VND15,400 per share on volume of 2.4 million shares. Its associated firm, realty enterprise HAG, also soared 6.7% at VND7,120 per share with over 9.3 million shares transacted. Given 130 rising stocks and 150 others falling, the VN-Index inched a fractional 0.74 point, or 0.08%, at 969.62. Trading on the southern market improved, with volume and value jumping 19.7% and 14% at 180.8 million shares worth VND4 trillion. Most stocks in the banking sector declined, with VCB and VPB dipping 1% and 4.1% at VND61,400 and VND24,900 a share, respectively.
