A banquet to welcome Tet early will be staged for 416 poor households in Co Ma, Pao and Chieng villages of the commune on the occasion. The Da Nang City Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs announced it will spend some VND44 billion on gifts for 90,000 policy beneficiaries, war veterans, Vietnamese heroic mothers and poor households in the city as the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2019 nears. The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism will grant 700 gifts to policy beneficiaries and victims of Agent Orange/ Dioxin in Hanoi and Quang Tri province, as well as disadvantaged people from poor communes in Thai Nguyen province, to help them celebrate a happy Tet holiday.
