Why Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City and Tottenham can win the Champions League: Making a case for all four English teams

It’s been a long time since an English team won the Champions League. Chelsea did it back in 2011/12 and until Liverpool fell at the last hurdle in 2017/18, for seven years English football has taken a back seat as Spain took their turn at the top table. Times have changed! Could this season be the start of a new cycle of Premier League dominance? First hurdle Man Utd vs PSG Things are a little different around Old Trafford these days and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Man Utd pose an altogether different threat to Thomas Tuchel’s PSG than Jose Mourinho’s did. Or do they? PSG are without Edinson Cavani and Neymar, leaving Tuchel with some difficult tactical decisions to make. Without these two in previous games, Kylian Mbappe has started as a central striker, supported by Angel Di Maria and Julian Draxler.
