VOV, Quang Ninh discuss joint organisation of ASEAN+3 Song Contest

VOV delegation had a meeting with representatives of the Quang Ninh province People’s Committee. The event, organized by VOV, aims to promote friendship among ASEAN member states and three nations China, the Republic of Korea and Japan Following the success of the first ASEAN+3 Song Contest which was hosted by VOV for the first time in Thanh Hoa province in 2017, this year’s event will see the participation of singers and artists from a range of ASEAN member states as well as from China, the Republic of Korea, and Japan. A total of 22 local and foreign contestants have been selected to take part in the semifinals of the competition to be held in Quang Ninh province between July 26 and July 29. The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of July 28. The contest will be open to professional singers with the aim of boosting knowledge about the culture and tourism of the countries involved in the event, whilst also providing a platform for young talents in the music industry.
