The 2019 Blood Donation Day marked the 28th anniversary of The Saigon Times Weekly (October 10) and the 24th anniversary of The Saigon Times Daily (October 2), the two English publications of the group. With an aim to address the chronic blood shortage in the country and save patients in need, the event drew foreign diplomats, staff of local businesses, civil servants, and Saigon Times Group staff.
