It’s a cross between a memoir and a management book and, unlike a lot of business books, is very readable. One of the major themes is what Iger calls the “relentless pursuit of perfection”. It is important, he writes, that people push back “against the urge to say that ‘good enough’ is good enough”. Dom Sibley has made a good start to life as England’s opening batsman with an average just below 40 and two Test hundreds to his name in ten games. But perhaps more than the runs, although clearly important both individually and for the team, the striking thing about Sibley’s time in the Test side is that he has been quick to recognise certain areas which need improvement.
