The Defense Minister was accompanied by Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Ngoc Minh; Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, Major General Le Hien Van; and representatives of defense agencies. At the meeting, the Defense Minister highly valued and lauded the achievements in every aspect of the unit's task performance over the past time, and extended best regards, wishing a happy New Year to all officers and soldiers of the units as well as their families. Regarding the unit's task implementation in 2017, General Lich asked its troops to continuously promote creativity and innovation; strictly observe military disciplines; foster its tradition; and build it into a comprehensively strong unit.
