Los Angeles: Singer Aaron Carter's love story with Melanie Martin is approaching a happy ending. The two, who had recently reunited after a bitter split in late April, are officially engaged now. The former teen pop sensation made the announcement on Instagram on Friday by posting a photo of Martin flaunting her diamond ring, reports dailymail.co.uk. NBC News Now Adds Two-Hour Weekday Live Block Anchored By Aaron Gilchrist
Streaming service NBC News Now has added two live hours to its weekday lineup, installing Washington TV veteran Aaron Gilchrist as its anchor. The noon-to-2PM ET block will cover cover national and international news. Gilchrist is former anchor for News4 Today on NBCUniversal -owned TV station WRC in Washington. NBC News Now has continued to expand its programming and is seeing its audience grow. It now claims 25 million monthly viewers, with 35 million total viewing hours a month. The service is available as a live-linear channel on NBCUniversal streaming outlet Peacock and is also carried on YouTube, YouTube TV, the Roku Channel, FuboTV, Xumo, Pluto and Tubi. Movies and books about Steve Jobs aren't rare. But Aaron Sorkin's "Steve Jobs" was one of the better ones despite being based on the Walter Isaacson book that received some pushback. The movie ultimately received good reviews from critics but didn't perform well at the box office. And now it's coming to Netflix. With the excellent Michael Fassbender playing Jobs, the movie is one of my favorites despite its flaws. Sure, it's no "Pirates of Silicon Valley," but nothing is.
