Pattaya- Pattaya City has received 1,000 sets of necessary items from the Gokoo delivery company and Chinese businessmen to give to the needy in Pattaya, according to Pattaya City leaders and representatives from both companies. A donation ceremony at Pattaya City Hall today (March 2 nd ) was led by a representative of Gokoo Mr. Poonsap Mangklard, and associated Chinese businessmen who live in Pattaya. One thousand sets of necessary items which consisted of instant noodles, rice, and cooking oil were donated to the Pattaya City Mayor Sonthaya Khunplume to give to the needy in the Pattaya area. Police arrest videographer behind Delta viral SARS video
Kindly Share This Story: By Perez Brisibe – Ughelli Detectives from the Delta State Police Command, have arrested the videographer behind last Saturday’s viral video alleging the killing of one person by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in Ughelli, headquarters of Ughelli North local government area of the state. The video which sparked tension within and outside the state also led to a mob attack on an off-duty SARS operative, Sergeant Ohwovwiogor Fidelis at the Ughelli central garage axis with the mob dousing him in fuel in an attempt to set him ablaze less for the timely intervention of a good Samaritan. The videographer, Prince Nicholas Makolomi, was arrested on Monday at an undisclosed location in Ughelli by the crack detectives who it was gathered trailed him to his Ughelli residence where he was picked up. Britain joins UN’s ‘jab for poor’ call
MANCHESTER: Britain has circulated a draft resolution to members of the United Nations Security Council calling on rich countries to donate doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to poorer and war-torn states, according to a text of the draft seen by Agence France-Presse on Friday (Saturday in Manila). The resolution, submitted on Thursday by Britain to the other 14 members of the Security Council, “emphasizes the need for solidarity, equity and efficacy and invites donation of vaccine doses from developed economies to low- and middle-income countries and other countries in need.” The draft resolution was announced on Wednesday by Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab during a session of the Security Council and estimates that around 160 million people worldwide are living in a conflict zone or unstable circumstances that puts them at risk of not receiving a vaccination.
