Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi met Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Department of Transportation (DoTr) executives led by DoTr Secretary Arthur Tugade via Zoom on February 15 to discuss the installation of bike lanes and the implementation of the North-South Commuter Railway Project in the city. DoTr vowed to assist the local government for the rollout of the infrastructure projects in Muntinlupa. Fresnedi also discussed the Covid-19 situation update together with city’s task force members. A Chinese-speaking man dies in bike crash near the Klong Kata Dam
Chalong Police received a report about a motorcycle crash last night (April 28) on the road behind Klong Kata Dam that killed a man whom the police are yet to positively identify. Ruamjai Rescue Foundation and Chalong Police believe that the 35-45 year old man might be a Chinese language tour guide as they found information in his mobile phone was in Chinese. He was found in a field on the roadside wearing a white T-shirt and trousers. He had a wound on his neck and bruises on his body. About 5 metres away from his body, they found a motorcycle and a black helmet. Also, they found a trace of motorcycle tyre. They say it appears that the rider flipped over the curbing then hit a pillar on the road side. According to local people, they say his name is Chin Ho who initially lived in the mountains in the north of Thailand. He was drinking with his friends about 4-5 kilometres away from the scene. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Times Square ‘s “ Naked Cowboy ” was arrested on a misdemeanor panhandling charge at Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida . Court records show Robert Burck , 51, who is widely known for wearing only white briefs, boots and a cowboy hat while playing a brightly colored guitar, was arrested Saturday while performing at the annual event on Florida’s Atlantic coast. Burck is a regular at Bike Week. Two armed guards escorted the 17-year-old with a developmental disability to see a psychologist, ready to intervene in another outburst. In childish, uneven handwriting, Cadarius wrote his name onto a legal form, releasing his right to medical privacy. Whatever unpredictable thing he might say next could be turned over to a judge. It had been three months since an early morning in July 2013 when Cadarius, then 16, was left alone at his mobile home despite a court order telling his mother to stay with him. An hour before the school bell rings, parents have started lining up in their cars outside the gates. As 3pm approaches, some have started parking on the broken yellow lines. Mum Ioree McKenzie said finding a spot on McLauchlan St was always a struggle, and wondered what it was going to be like when Marlborough's new co-located colleges were built. The project, estimated at more than $100 million, would see the Marlborough Boys’ and Marlborough Girls’ colleges located on the site currently occupied by the girls' college and Bohally Intermediate.
