New Delhi: Mobility and logistics startups have become the apple of venture capitalists’ eye in the last few years with investors betting big on their growth. Startups like Bounce and Delhivery made headlines for striking some of the biggest deals in 2019. Logistics tech firm Delhivery entered the unicorn club after raising $395 million from the Japanese multinational conglomerate SoftBank which took the company’s valuation to $1.6 billion. Whereas the Bengaluru-based two-wheeler rental platform Wickedride, which owns Bounce, raised $150 million funding from Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners and the list goes on.As per ETAuto’s research, automotive startups attracted a whopping $354 billion investments globally in 2019.
