The Yonhap News Agency reports that in the first quarter of this year alone, a record high 1.11 million holidaymakers from South Korea visited Vietnam, up 24.1 percent from the previous year, surpassing the 1-million mark in a quarter for the first time. Last year, more than 3.4 million South Koreans visited Vietnam for a 44 percent year-on-year increase, accounting for more than one fourth of total international arrivals to the country (15.5 million), according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. "Vietnam remains one of the most favorite destinations for South Koreans. Factory owners in China’s Guangdong Province said that they are planning to produce outside China, given the existing tariffs and uncertainty about future U.S. trade measures. Angelo Cheung, a Hong Kong-based executive for Aoyagi, a Japanese electronics group that manufactures in China, told Financial Times that some orders from the U.S. had already been halted because of the increasing uncertainty. Cheung also said his company is considering various options including moving part of its supply chain to Vietnam. Now with tariffs on made-in-China products set to rise, nations like Cambodia and Vietnam turn out to be more attractive than ever for U.S.-based consumer-goods makers that have factories in China. Family medical practice clinics aim to provide comprehensive and continuous health care services to each local individual and family in order to reduce overcrowding of patients at city or central-level hospitals. These clinics are located at health stations in communes and wards. Each commune or ward has one health station. Cần Thơ aims to equip more than 80 per cent of its 85 health stations with these clinics by 2020.
