The burger chain has signed an exclusive partnership with Menulog, to offer customers the chance to have Hungry Jack’s meals delivered to their homes. Hungry Jack’s’ full range of famous burgers, meals, desserts and sides will be available for online ordering and delivery to Menulog’s customer base of more than three million Australians. From today, its fast food range will able to be delivered to more than 1600 suburbs. The partnership follows Roy Morgan research findings from March this year that found more than 17 million Australians eat takeaway food and nearly a third of Australians eat Subway, Hungry Jack’s or Domino’s Pizza food in an average six months. Sun Basket is relatively new to the meal-kit scene, with organic, local choices brought to you from Justine Kelly, a well-known chef who was on the executive team at San Francisco’s famous Slanted Door restaurant. It offers a lot of menu choices beyond the typical steak-and-potatoes fare, including paleo, dairy-, or gluten-free options, and many of the dishes have an Asian-fusion flare. In efforts to fulfill orders faster, Amazon will help some employees transition to entrepreneurial life. An expansion of its Delivery Service Partner program, the new initiative will give Amazon employees funding to start their own businesses delivering packages for the online retail giant.
