Hanoi (VNA/VNS) - The first-ever Human Library project has just opened in Hanoiâs Labour and Society College. During the two days it ran, the âliving libraryâ attracted more than 500 âreadersâ and received encouraging feedback. Instead of displaying books, the library gathered people, who could tell their own stories to the audience. The project was first kicked off in Denmark in 2000. It has spread to more than 70 countries all over the world. Tran Ha Linh, a final-year student of the Hanoi University of Culture, has received five contracts to act as a girlfriend during Tet. These three to four hour assignments earns her VND1 million (USD47.6) a go, helping with her Tet financing.
