WEST HAM have received a huge blow in their quest to permanently sign Jesse Lingard after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer declared he wants him back at Manchester United. The 28-year-old has been in inspired form since he joined the Hammers on loan in January after failing to make a Premier League appearance for the Red Devils this term. England international Lingard has chipped in with eight goals and four assists in just nine top-flight outings for David Moyes' side. West Ham failed to secure an option to buy clause when signing Lingard on loan, and they now look set to miss out on keeping him at the London Stadium. Speaking ahead of United's Europa League quarter-final second leg tie against Granada, Solskjaer stated Lingard will be welcomed back to Old Trafford. Following his decision to transfer earlier this month, Kyler Edwards has decided to remain in the state of Texas to finish his college career. The former Red Raider and four-star guard gave his verbal commitment to Houston this afternoon. In 29 games last season, Edwards averaged 10.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.8 points per game for the Red Raiders. Edwards chose Houston over the likes of Clemson , Florida , LSU , and Texas . He will join a huge transfer recruiting class that includes Connecticut big man Josh Carlton and Cal State Bakersfield guard Taze Moore . A strong three-level scorer, Edwards is an all-purpose two guard who is productive on both ends of the floor.
