in different area codes Jeramy Johnson 14 Apr 2021 1 Source: Andrew Myrick / Android Central Remember the days when you had to either memorize your contact's phone numbers, or you had them written down in some sort of, you know, phone book ? How to Use Smart Lighting to Transform Your Kid’s Bedroom
Both my kids have gone through periods of being scared of the dark. Long ago, I went through it myself. It’s a natural part of growing up. Parents and children around the globe have conducted tense nightly negotiations about precisely how open bedroom doors should be and how long the hall light needs to stay on for decades. But nowadays, we have so many more lighting options. Whether your kids are afraid of the dark or have trouble getting up in the morning, smart lighting can help. How I write: Abby Letteri finds birdsong a perfect soundtrack
Abby Letteri is a New Zealand writer and graduate of the IIML (MA, 2004). Her poetry, stories, reviews and essays have been published in the US and New Zealand. down they forgot is her first book. What's your writing routine? Do you have a certain time of day you like to write? I do most of my writing early in the morning, not before I’ve had a strong cup of tea, but before I’ve looked at email and social media, before I’ve talked to anyone other than the dogs and horses. Later in the day, I can often go back and re-read, edit or even add a bit, but those uncluttered mornings are the best for original composition. And where do you write? My favourite place to write is in the tiny apartment tucked into the back of the barn on my little horse farm. I have a small desk at the foot of my bed, my favourite books on a shelf above. There are two massive Totara trees outside the window. Birdsong is a perfect soundtrack. How worried should we be about blood clots linked to AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines?
ZURICH: US regulators have recommended pausing the use of Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine as they investigate rare blood clotting in six women, including one who died. Johnson & Johnson also said it was delaying the roll-out of its vaccine in Europe . US officials said the temporary halt is expected only to last a few days. The move comes after Europe's drug regulator said it had found a possible link between AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine and very rare blood clots in some adults who had received the shot. Britain's health regulator has recommended people under the age of 30 get an alternative COVID-19 vaccine, if possible, rather than the AstraZeneca shot. Experts said clotting risks for both vaccines remain extremely low and they are highly effective in providing protection against COVID-19, amid fears that reports of the rare side effects could deter people from getting their shots. Here is what we know so far: WHAT HAS HAPPENED? With both the … [Read more...] about How worried should we be about blood clots linked to AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines?
