Shares of Cadila Healthcare hit their fresh 52-week high in early trade on Tuesday after the company said it has received Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the US health regulator for its Baddi facility in Himachal Pradesh. This receipt of EIR indicates successful closure of the inspection points (483s) raised based on the inspection carried out between February 21 to March 1, 2017, it added. "The company’s manufacturing facility at Baddi has received an Establishment Inspection Report from the USFDA", Cadila Healthcare said in a BSE filing on June 5. The scrip was trading 2.34 per cent up at Rs 502 in the morning trade. However, it plunged and eventually closed 0.07 per cent down at Rs 490.15. NEW DELHI: Drug firm Cadila Healthcare has received Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the US health regulator for its Baddi facility in Himachal Pradesh. The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) had earlier given three observations under Form 483 after the inspection of the facility. "The company's manufacturing facility at Baddi has received an Establishment Inspection Report from the USFDA", Cadila Healthcare said in a BSE filing today. American woman dies after plastic surgery at Saigon clinic
The 59-year-old woman, whose name has not been revealed, registered last Friday for a face-lift procedure at the South Korean-run Kangnam Plastic Surgery Hospital in District 3. Clinical examination results showed that the patient was healthy and had a history of silicone pumping on the cheeks, according to an initial report from the hospital sent to the city’s department of health. The woman was given an anesthetic and went into surgery a day later. The same night, she shows signs of shortness of breath and low blood pressure. Doctors from the clinic tried to resuscitate the woman but failed. The patient was rushed to Cho Ray Hospital in emergency condition. However, she died after two days of hospitalization there. Glenmark’s Baddi manufacturing unit receives GMP certificate from European regulator
NEW DELHI: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals on Monday said that its Baddi manufacturing unit has received Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certificate from European regulator State Institute for Drug control (SUKL). "The European regulator has just issued a certificate of compliance for the facility stating that it complies with the principles and guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) laid down in the directive 2003/94/EC which stipulates the requirements to fulfil GMP recommendations of WHO," Glenmark Pharmaceuticals said in a regulatory filing. Baddi manufacturing unit of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals was inspected by SUKL in the week of October 21 this year, the filing added.
