The story of funerals in southern Nigeria. The real mourning doesn’t last long because the need to impress people at the funeral kicks in immediately. Family members begin to break their heads to raise funds to magnify themselves by a grandiose funeral. Culture says the dead should be honoured. But why caricature a man who never had a car with a final ride to the grave in a hired limousine? Some who died in cringe-worthy circumstances of abject lack are sometimes buried with stubborn lavishness. Funerals can rightly be carnivals. Life without colorful rituals will be drab. The mad scramble for vaccines is the incident where the reality about moralizing and hypocrisy by Western powers is clearly demonstrated along with the bias of some media and headline grabbing politicians in the Philippines, who are a major source of rumors and fear and cause of the delays in acceptance of vaccination by our countrymen. It has become more and more common for young people around the world to describe themselves not as a “man” or a “woman,” but as “something else.” One term for this something else is transgender . Transgender is an umbrella term for a wide variety of different identities (e. g ., genderqueer, gender variant, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, hyper-feminine gay man, asexual, etc.). MADRID: Real Madrid's top scorer Karim Benzema is back for Sunday's derby away to La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid, coach Zinedine Zidane said, no doubt hoping the striker can restore some attacking flair to the side, which has struggled for goals in his absence. Benzema has been out since injuring a muscle after scoring in a 2-0 win over Valencia on Feb. 14.
