The strongest growth was seen in the markets of Mexico, Canada, the US and Japan at 32.4%, 27.8%, 24.9% and 17.7% respectively. In February, Vietnam also imported US$91 million worth of seafood, bringing the total imports in the first two months of 2019 to US$247 million, down 9.3% year on year. The figures were revealed by the Import and Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT). Among the ten main export markets of Vietnamese tea in 2018, Pakistan is the largest, with imports of 33,250 tonnes, reaching almost 72 million USD, increasing by 14.76 percent in volume and 15.88 percent in value. The average export price is 2,164.96 USD per tonne, up 0.98 percent against 2017. Taiwan ranked second by importing 17,350 tonnes of tea from Vietnam, worth 26.81 million USD, increasing 7.26 percent in volume and 5.75 percent in value, but the average export price decreased by 1.41 percent compared to the previous year. National press contest on anti-corruption 2017 announced The 2017 national press award on the fight against and prevention of corruption and wastefulness has been launched by the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA) and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee. Both professional and amateur Vietnamese journalists in Vietnam and abroad can participate, with each author or group of authors submitting a maximum of five press works. These works should be published in Vietnamese media between January 1 and November 30, 2017.
