Google is working with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and MyGov to provide users with information on authorised testing labs across major cities in India. While the testing centre details and location will be shown by Google, note that you just cannot walk into any centre for testing. A doctor’s referral is required to get tested and also COVID-19 tests are limited to certain patients as per Google. For more information about a particular testing centre, Google recommends that you call 1075 helpline and verify information about the testing centre before visiting. Google will also show whether a testing centre is privately owned or government owned.
