New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to New Delhi on Tuesday concluding his three-day visit to Thailand where he participated in ASEAN- India, East Asia and RCEP summits. On November 4, India decided not to join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement as its key concerns have not been addressed. Coach Park Hang Seo has no time to celebrate Vietnam’s ticket to the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in UAE Coach Park Hang Seo has led Vietnam to secure a berth at the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in his debut with the team this week, but the South Korean did not have time to delight in his mission accomplished. Park, who was appointed the Vietnam coach in October, has in fact been criticized for his lackluster leadership in the first official game with the team, a goalless draw against Afghanistan on home soil in the 2019 Asian Cup qualifying game on Tuesday. Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) expects continued volatility in capital markets due to the trade dispute between the United States and China, but foreign investor confidence in Thailand remains strong due to the country’s robust economic foundations and profit growth among listed companies. SET President Dr. Pakorn Peetathawatchai revealed that last year, the SET index shrank 10.8 percent from the year before, due to global disruptions from the ongoing trade tension between the United States and China. However, he added that Thailand’s economic foundations remain strong and continued to post higher growth last year, with several publicly listed companies reporting higher profits. This year, the SET President expects further volatility from fluctuating oil prices and the uncertainty surrounding trade policy between China and the US.
