National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will arrange a separate flight using Boeing 787-10 aircraft to transport both the national men’s and women’s football teams from the Philippine’s following their gold medals at SEA Games 30. The three-day forum is expected to be attended by nearly 40 world leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. The BRI is a development strategy proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013 as a union of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st century Maritime Silk Road. According to the Chinese government, it is aimed at enhancing regional connectivity by developing infrastructure projects that create land and sea networks connecting Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. The Vietnamese condotel market, the only one in the region, shows serious problems because of legal deadlocks. Kai Marcus Schroter, CEO of Hospitality Tourism Management, commented that local authorities still lack necessary knowledge when assessing condotel projects. Running a condotel is not similar to operating a housing or hotel project. In the real estate market, the world once witnessed a condotel boom 15-20 years ago in the Mediterranean and Europe. But now this kind of product no longer has influence on the market. Thailand also saw a condotel boom 5-10 years ago, but there have been no new condotel projects.
